Performance of Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensors Using Copper/Copper Oxide Films: Influence of Thicknesses and Optical Properties

چکیده
Surface plasmon resonance sensors (SPR) using copper for sensitive parts are a competitive alternative to gold and silver. Copper oxide is semiconductor has non-toxic nature. The unavoidable presence of may be interest as it non-toxic, but modifies the condition performance sensor. Therefore, characterization optical properties thin films interest. We propose method recover both thicknesses from absorbance curves over (0.9;3.5) eV range, we use these results numerically investigate surface copper/copper films. Samples initial 10, 30 50 nm, after nine successive oxidations, systematically studied simulate signal Plasmon Resonance setup. obtained resolution inverse problem used discuss copper-oxide sensor and, therefore, evaluate optimal thicknesses.
